Dear Accepted Candidates,
Thank you for submitting your documents at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences – Faculty of Food Technology, we are pleased to welcome you to our academic community.
Please find below organizational information regarding studies, that will start from academic year 2022/2023 – winter semester.
STUDENT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Student identification number – is the individual number assigned to each student. Along with the entry on the list of students, every newly admitted student will be given an individual student identification number – this number will also be indicated on the student ID card. The album number will be sent to the e-mail address provided by candidates in the IRK system. Candidates who have ever studied at WULS-SGGW use the previous number.
VIRTUAL DEAN’S OFFICE (eHMS)
Virtual Dean’s Office enables the student to access his / her data related to studies through the website.
To create account in the Virtual Dean’s Office (eHMS):
1. go to the website: https://ehms.sggw.edu.pl/standard/
2. Pick the language – English
3. under the login window, select the link: [registration/students’ accounts recovery]
4. enter required data including Student identification number.
5. from the dropdown list, select Faculty of Food Technology (Wydział Technologii Żywności)
STUDENT MAIL ACCOUNT
Student Mail Account – The service will be available a few days befor the start of the academic year. Using the Student Mail Account, you will be able to log in to various university websites or use the Office 365 service or the university’s WIFI. The account identifier is the student identification number preceded by the letter “s”, followed by a domain identifier, e.g. sXXXXXX@sggw.edu.pl

STUDENT IDENTITY CARD
The fee for student ID amount 22PLN. Payment for student ID should be made to a new individual account number (different for each student ) assigned in a Virtual Dean’s Office (tab “My Finance”). In case you are abroad and you can not pay in PLN currency, you can make this payment after arrival to Poland (directly through Polish bank). The ELS preparation process takes approx. 10-15 business days from the moment of posting the fee on the WULS-SGGW account. Student ID cards will be prepared and issued by the Dean’s Office.
Newly admitted students, by the end of the first full week of classes, are required to perform the following activities in the relevant dean’s office:
– signing the oath (the acquisition of student rights at WULS-SGGW by a person admitted to studies takes place upon taking the oath);
– signing an agreement with the university;
– receipt of a student ID card (if it was issued);
– provide a certificate from an occupational medicine doctor (if a certificate from an occupational medicine doctor is required for a given field of study), a list of fields of study in the link below: https://www.sggw.edu.pl/rekrutacja/skierowania-na-badania-lekarskie/

Occupational health and safety Training and Library Training
Newly admitted students are required to carry out the Ocupational Health and Safety Training and the Library Training. Trainings dedicated to particular fields of study are conducted in the form of e-learning, on a dedicated platform: https://szkolenia.sggw.pl/
The expected duration of each training course is about 5 hours, you should be prepared for it and reserve a convenient time. To sign up for the training, you need an Office 365 student account that can be activated only after obtaining the Student Identification Number.
