SGGW Witryn / Home / News / YOUAREIN – YOUng AgRifood European Innovators

We are participating in the implementation of the project “YOUAREIN – YOUng AgRifood European Innovators” as part of the “Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education” of the Erasmus+ program. SGGW is the coordinator of the project, which aims to develop a multifunctional, multimedia training on innovative strategies for producing economically, environmentally and socially sustainable food products.

The course developed as part of the project will concern alternative methods, new ingredients, as well as building the awareness of a new generation of entrepreneurs, so that their interest in investing in sustainable development is the basic principle of their business, and not a forced practice. The training will include 120 hours of multimedia materials, and its final part will be the “Business Game“.

Partners in the project:

1 Food Hub (Italy),

2 Universidade Catolica Portuguesa,  Escola Superior deBiotecnologia (Portugal),

3 European Food Information Council (Belgium),

4 Alma Mater Studiorum – Universita di Bologna, Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (Italy).

The project received funding in the amount of 250,000 euro.

We encourage to follow information about the project on the website https://www.youarein.eu/, especially students interested in taking part in the training and Business Game.

The online course platform will be available in 2024.

Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.
