The inauguration of the academic year 2022/2023 took place on October 4.
We listened to the speeches of the Dean, Dr. hab. Rafał Wołosiak, Vice-Rector for international cooperation dr hab. Marta Mendel, Director of the Institute of Food Sciences, prof. dr. hab. Mirosław Słowiński and the representative of WTŻ Student Self-Government inż. Zofia Półtorak.
There was a ceremonial immatriculation of first-year students of four study programmes at our faculty. On behalf of the Rector of WULS-SGGW, the Vice-Rector handed awards to the academic staff for their research, organizational and teaching activities.
Students and PhD students especially involved in organizational activities for the faculty and university received diplomas of recognition. There were: Ada Przybyszewska, Andrzej Pudełek, Anna Pakulska, Krzysztof Pająk, Magdalena Trusińska, Zofia Półtorak i Alicja Barańska.
The inaugural lecture on “Sustainable Food Packaging” was given by dr hab. Sabina Galus from the Department of Food Engineering and Process Management.
We wish the entire academic community of our faculty a successful academic year 2022/2023!
