Prof. Seid Mahdi Jafari (Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources) – a global specialist in nano and microencapsulation, will conduct research on “Integrated low temperature process for the production of improved natural colorant powder from purple carrot” during his stay at the Department of Engineering Food and Production Organization, during the period from March to September 2022. The co-author of the application and the coordinator of the stay is Katarzyna Samborska.
The scholarship, aiming at increasing the internationalization of Polish scientific institutions, was awarded to 51 out of 291 scientists interested in conducting research in Poland, including only one in the field of agricultural sciences.
Prof. Seid Mahdi Jafari is the author of over 300 scientific publications, editor of over 30 books at Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis, co-author of 13 patents. In 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 he was included in the list of the most influential scientists according to Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science), his current h-index is 63 (Scopus).
